We're in the Media!
We have worked on many specialist projects for organisations such as RMBC, Pennine Heritage and Ian Simpson architects. The work involved can range from contemporary art to the restoration of listed buildings.
We’ve had some amazing feedback from the media, and it’s an honour for us to be featured in the press. For us, it’s a real justification of everything we aim to be, as well as a big compliment. And what’s more, our customers tell us they like to see their favourite stone supplier in the press - everyone likes to know they backed the winning horse!
Memorial Flags
On the 13th January 2014, we were asked to carve 4 flags for the Memorial Garden in the heart of Heywood for the World War 1 commemoration. It took us 8 weeks to complete and we finished them off with a specialised paint that would last for over 20 years; keeping them looking as good as the day we carved them. This was an absolute honour to do and we are proud to know they will be there for the many years to come.

Ian Simpson the Architect
If you're not familiar with Ian Simpson the architect, you might be familiar with "The Hilton Hotel" in Manchester. The hotel is housed within the 47-storey mixed-use skyscraper.
It was designed by architect - Ian Simpson, who owns the duplex penthouse apartment on the very top floor. He came to us wanting something simple yet elegant while still being a bold statement piece.
We'll there it is in all its glory, with a spectacular view we all envy.
